Did anyone use Gigs and Tours for their tickets?

I ordered my tickets through them this time for a change.

It has now turned out that I'm unlikely to make the concert now and will likely have to sell the tickets on. I did hope by this stage I'd have the tickets in hand, but I haven't. I sent an email to question when delivery was predicted and I was told postage would be 7 days before the gig and allow upto 2 days before the gig for delivery. That's cutting it a bit fine.

Anyone else used them before and happy with them?

I've read a few online reviews and I'm a little nervous now.

Having the same issue! Tickets have yet to be dispatched as of today the 14th November & the gig is 22nd! I have train & hotel booked but no tickets. I've used gigs & tours for tickets before without issue but never again!

I believe part of the reason tickets do not go out until last minute is to combat touting. But either way, you have bought a ticket, have a reference number and if they do not show up in time then contact customer service who will undoubtedly sort you out on the door. So don't panic. You pay for 1st class or recorded or whatever, and that will show up the next day.

The only firm I have had an issue with in the past is See Tickets. They are - and I am going to try and be nice here - a bunch of fucking shyster thundercunts who all deserve several kicks to the genitals and head.

There is a lesson to be learned here though - always buy an e-ticket. (saying that, I do not know if this was an option)

See tickets & gigs and tours are basically the same company! I understand regarding ticket touts and delaying tickets for this reason but I buy several gig/festival tickets a year & have never got so close to a gig without them even being dispatched

Are they? Shit. This I did not know. I have never used G&T before.

In that case, get onto them. Hard. Tomorrow. Bunch of fucking shit stains on the y-fronts of humanity. Would rather never see a gig again than use SeeTickets. Cunts. Fucking awful cunts. If they were the only supplier of meat on earth, I would go veggie. Or pick them off one by one and go cannibal.

I appreciate reasons for not sending them out until late on, but two days is far too close. Many people travel for concerts and often leave a couple of days in advance to make a weekend of it.

I'm due to heading away on the Thursday, before the gig on the Saturday, and might not even have the tickets before I leave. I'll not have a chance to recoup my money if I can't make it.

Has everyone got their tickets from Ticketmaster?

** Gigs & tours/see tickets update
FINALLY dispatched tickets yesterday (Thursday) for the gig on Tuesday at Carlisle. They should arrive today, as being sent special delivery so panic almost over but I won't be happy til I have them in my hand.

My tickets for Doncatraz (23rd) arrived yesterday from G&T, never had a problem with them personally.

Valid point. I appreciate them trying to combat touting, but this wait for tickets is a pain in the neck.
I travel over from Ireland and am making this into a holiday with several other gigs besides Frank. The other shows are E-tickets, so no worries. With Seetickets (who are indeed the same company as Gigs and Tours) I have to change my tickets to box office collection, because I cannot risk the tickets arriving in the post when I am already on the ferry....
I have been in this situation before and sometimes it works out fine, with clued in venues who allow you to collect your tickets in the afternoon. Other times though you are dealing with dopey venue staff, who first realize that there must be a list for ticket collections somewhere once the doors open and folks with tickets in hand dash past you to get a spot on the barrier. Very frustrating and it doesn't happen anywhere else but in the UK.
