Probably better that way....

Actually, no, it'd be less mediocre that way. I guess.

On first listen it's really, really, really, ridiculously average. On the whole it sounds a bit more like Blue Album/Pinkerton era stuff but gets massively let down by the lyrics. Really poor effort.

pour a little salt we were never here

staring at the sink of blood and crushed veneer

I tell my love to wreck it all
Cut out all the ropes and let me fall
My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my
Right in the moment this order's tall

I told you to be patient
I told you to be fine
I told you to be balanced
I told you to be kind
In the morning I'll be with you
But it will be a different "kind"
I'll be holding all the tickets
And you'll be owning all the fines

Come on skinny love what happened here
Suckle on the hope in lite brassiere
My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my
Sullen load is full; so slow on the split
always thought it would have made more sense if he sang "owing" all the fines.

Still beautiful though!

Pretty much have this on repeat.

Evan, hurry the 'eff' up and listen to the Red album. I'm intrigued as to what you'll reckon on it.

OK...not brilliant it has to be said. Not terrible, but nothing that got me excited either.

yeah. it could actually be the best show i've ever seen. he got the entire crowd to join in on 'the wolves...' which was totally suited to the church.

he finished with 'for emma' which he played acoustic, unplugged, from within the crowd. there were so many people there that my friends and i sat in the aisle. just incredible.

Have been listening to the new Sigur Ros.

The second track pretty much embodies summertime, it's wonderful.

Today i'm mainly listening to Jonquil, whose album i picked up at a gig yesterday. Lovely stuff.
