This mention of Meneguar reminds me that I need to check them out. I have one song by them called "Bury a Flower". The only reason I found out about them was because they were name checked in a review of a friends demo on some music blog. I remember liking.

Today I purchased two albums.

Bon Iver and Flight of the Conchords.

I was listening to The Cinematic Orchestra.
But now, I hear whatever sound the computer is making and the occasional car going past. Lovely.

I did actually mean the band, but I have heard "The Red Album" and think it's ok, better than recent output but still, they're dead. They're never going to re-capture "Pinkerton" or "The Blue Album" in my opinion.

Joy Division - Digital (live at Birmingham Uni)

Watched Control for the second time last week and just finished reading the book which it was based on, quite different for the film and paints Ian in a much more unfavourable light, still, amazing music nonetheless and listening to the Birmingham show is eerie as fuck as it was their last ever.

just last a year
pour a little salt we were never here
my my my my my my my my
staring at the sink of blood and crushed veneer

I tell my love to wreck it all
Cut out all the ropes and let me fall
My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my
Right in the moment this order's tall

I told you to be patient
I told you to be fine
I told you to be balanced
I told you to be kind
In the morning I'll be with you
But it will be a different "kind"
I'll be holding all the tickets
And you'll be owning all the fines

Come on skinny love what happened here
Suckle on the hope in lite brassiere
My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my
Sullen load is full; so slow on the split
