Through listening to Last.fm radio, I have just noticed that Maiden's 'For The Greater Good of God' and Million Dead's 'Engine Driver' flow one after the other really quite well.

The (relatively) new Mogwai album.

I reckon it's good. Really good, in fact. Anyone?

At the moment I am listening to nothing. I forgot my music playing device and now Im at work for another 6 hours with nothing to listen to.

And the reason I am bringing this to your attention is because I have got Frank stuck in my head. And frankly, Frank is doing my head in. (sorry.)

But its just one or two lines, that's the crux. This happens to me all the time. I know all the lyrics but one line tends to get stuck in my head for a while.

And at the moment its Photosynthesis and the bit "about meekly shuffling down the path of mediocrity. Well if that's your road then take it but it's not the road for me."

Whilst I'm sat here in a crap temping job, (data entry) hungover, cold and wet from walking in, COMPLETELY SURROUNDED by mediocrity. There are people here who have spent the last 30 years in this office. I'm filling in work experience applications tonight.

Anyone else often get one-liners stuck in their head?? I've had "Prufrock" "We're almost on the guestlist, but we're always stuck in traffic" stuck on record for the past week. Just that bit. Even though I KNOW the rest.

OK rant over. (Sorry)

Evan

Did anyone see this blog entry on the front page, Jax just reminded me of it and it made me chuckle:

"I don't know how much attention you pay to these. But your songs both annoy me and yet keep drawing me back again and again. You're utterly and totally self indulgent yet compelling."

Evan - Rancid tickets, shall we give it a miss today as it's fucking lashing down.

I bet you're actually listening to Placebo... "And it all breaks down at the role reversal"
