Behemoth.

I am trying to work through the Roskilde band list in preparation for the festival.
Polish death metal is not my thing, but always good to try out something different.

Neil Young's new album 'Americana' just arrived, also just got 'Song up In Her Head' by Sarah Jarosz, who I saw play an outstanding gig the other night.

The Clash self titled album, really surprises me how little I hear people talk about it, fantastic album, it's not London Calling, but it's still amazing.
And Black Stone Cherry - Between The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. Again brilliant.

Oh and also have 45 the new Gaslight single on repeat, can't wait for the new album or to see them at Leeds!

I've been listening to the latest record from A Place to Bury Strangers in prep for next week's gig in DC.

I'm a sucker for that Jesus and Mary Chain vibe.

this week's musical accompaniment to unpleasant tasks.....

Sewing (& unpicking black thread on black fabric) - Chuck Ragan - Covering Ground, Feast and Famine, Gold Country (on repeat)

Cleaning the rug the cat that the cat we don't own was sick on - Def Leppard - Greatest Hits (brilliant for playing at max volume whilst jumping around on the rug in the bath - having first removed the cat sick)

Cleaning - Jim Lockey and The Solemn Sun - Death

Boring admin - Frank Turner entire discography :-)

I'm on the second run through of Franks albums, and it actually looks like I've done something in here! Yay - I'm winning!
