I would start with Keep It Like A Secret....got some good songs on there (Else, Carry The Zero). Ancient Melodies of the Future too..both pretty accessible...I haven't heard the latest one..Car might be my favourite song of theirs...

Hmmm... A must as in 'a must if you want to read some tosspiece who knows fuck all and extrapolates an opinion as fact based on the flimsiest of anecdotal evidence'?

Sounds like you've got a lot in common then.

Great thanks Peter-phile; just counting down the days until work finishes and the LPC begins. Can't wait for a year of bollock-numbing boredom back in the education system.

Yourself? You and Evan set a date yet?

All good, Evan and I are going to renew our vows at Lexapalooza, we're the secret headliners. The real Frank Turner will be doing the religious gumph.

You getting sponsored for the LPC or funding yourself? I'd imagine it will be pretty dull. My former colleague has landed a reasonable first case, see here in the background with client in foreground:

Anyone heard of Admiral Fallow? Rather a good band. Should give them a listen. Heard this a couple of days ago and can't stop listening to it:

I am going to see them next Sunday. I have been actively boycotting what they pass off as Thin Lizzy these days, but someone gave me a ticket and The Supersuckers are supporting so I'm going. Ricky Warwick just seems to do a Phil impression, so i'm treating it like a good quality covers band. They are playing an excellent setlist, and it IS Scott Gorham...and Brian Downey...and the keyboard guy...
