Ah, some good, happy summery music.

I was just giving you a nice big stick to beat me with. I'm a nice guy like that.

And I do really like that remix. I imagine playing it really loudly driving around a boy racer circuit with a big grin on my face. I'm all for grinning.

The Frightened Rabbit album sounds so so much better over speakers than over earphones in my humble opinion.

Have also been listening to the Tallest Man On Earth's new album a fair bit (slight understatement there). Easily one of my favourite artists and he's playing London in a week and again in June. Tickets booked for both!

His first UK show last year was my favourite gig of 2009 so cannae wait for these shows.

Have a video of the amazing 'King Of Spain';

still not properly decided on the new frightened rabbit. it's very good, but nowhere near as good as MOF... not even close.

as for frabbit being "under-produced early biffy".... no. just no. not because i dislike biffy, but just because that's so clearly not true.

re biffy - going to see them in perth next month with twilight sad and rolo tomassi supporting. excited.

am so jealous... would love to see them live (but (and I'm not complaining!!) they are playing London the same night as The Roundhouse gig).

I have attempted (so far successfully) to avoid listening to Frightened Rabbit new material. I think when the 'first listen' is a live experience then it leaves a greater and more sensual imprint in the mind. I think I can last until Weds (what with Lent, could say t'is the season for the masochistic pastime of musical abstinence)

FAO Pete & Re: frabbit = maybe you just haven't experienced the gut-wrenchingly awful hellhole of falling for someone unobtainable and detrimental to your overall wellbeing? To me, it seems, their music and lyrics sum this chaotic soulf*ck up very well...

Wow, I am clearly in quite a dark mood today :shock:

i'm really not falling for this one the way i did mof. i fell absolutely in love from the first song i heard and did not listen to anything else for weeks.

this one, it isn't bad, but it just doesn't have the weight.

worriedaboutsatan - Arrivals

Cracking minimal, dark, electronic album. They always play in London when I can't bloody make it though. Their next show being no exception..

I Used to Have a Heart by Say Anything.

Easily the best pop-punk band in recent years.
