her name is Alison Gregory. I noticed through mutual facebook friends, so I asked her if she knew you and she said she played music with you?

Ha ha, yeah, me and Ali were in school/college band together, fun times. Tell her 'gang bang' from me. She'll understand.

haha, amazing.

I'm listening to some friends album which finally got released last week, two years after they split. Someone who loved their music took it upon themselves to fund and release their album. I have to say the person who did go and release the album did a fantastic job, either that or slightly derranged (in a nice way).

They were called Nosferatu D2, some of you have may heard of the singer Ben who has a solo acousitc thing now under the name Superman Revenge Squad.

I know they are my friends, but they really were good. Ben being the great lyricist and Adam being an amazing drummer. This is what the NME said about them.

"This south London duo sound like post-rockers Mogwai reinterpreting choice moments from The Fall's illustrious back catalogue. Their songs make for a snotty, sneering listen and are as giddily hypnotic as they are unsettling" - NME "

I always liked this one. "Like Art Brut and Biffy Clyro playing a Pavement song at the wrong speed as their girlfriends leave them, it shouldn't work but gloriously, it does.".

Anyway, this was them.

If anyone likes or is bothered at all, you could order the album from here.

And Thisisfakediy, interviewed the person who releaed it out of his own money.

Sorry if that sounds like some kind of press release/spamming. I didn't mean to, even if these are friends they were great.

The Antlers - Hospice.

An absolute fucking masterpiece. And also the closest I have come to crying when listening to music. Incredible.....

Yeah it's not as bad as I thought it may be. Maybe just a little overproduced; especially when compared to the EPs/singles.

Am currently listening to Millencolin's Home From Home :)

Last week I bought a new iPod which came with a free £15 iTunes voucher.

So far I have managed to spend £3.95 on the following.

Cats and cats and cats - A Boy Called Haunts.
Cats and cats and cats - The Boy With The Beak
Tall Ships - Words and Pegs.
Talons - Manatee (already had it on Vinyl)
Talons - The Pearl (ditto)

I need recommendations.
