Re: The I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY Thread

Somebody got a spiffy new iPad Air for "work" - everybody has them, nobody uses them for work, we all use our laptops. To recap, this means I have a free iPad Air with some ridonkulous amount of data usage that I merely have to carry importantly into a meeting from time to time to sit on the table ...

Really good bill lined up for it, including me! It has been my childhood dream to play on that stage, and to do it ...

But seriously. Blizzard conditions + driving + night = near-death experiences galore.

Be careful out there, dear. Don't freeze!

Or come visit summer. I have spare beds.

Re: The I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY Thread

I have two ways that I sleep.

1. Fall in bed, sleep. Wake up, don't even remember you went to bed.

2. Stare at the ceiling, do that thing were you're asleep enough not to move but awake enough to realise you aren't actually asleep.

Every night is like Satan's fucking lottery.

Hope you feel better soon, Bella.

Here's something to help you Northern Hemispherians dream of summer as you freeze. An Enchanted BBQ. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/elwood/b ... 1035043823

I can get there to pick it up if anybody is interested. (No, seriously, go look!)

Re: Non-Frank Gigs

Future of the Left was very good. I got a setlist, which was even better. It was pretty hot and steamy, and a disappointingly small crowd, though. Also the sound was kind of shit, I couldn't hear Falco very well at all, which was a shame. I was half through I Don't Know What You Ketamine going 'what...

Re: The

Just ending my 11th week in hospital. Now in a different hospital (I was moved to Oxford) but fucking fed up of it all and just want to go home, to the pub, to not be in constant pain. Oh, and I'd quite like to be able to move my legs again. Fucker. This attack is worst than the last, no sensation ...

That was indeed awesome. I thought he was going to explode with happy at the end, in a very restrained way.

Re: Non-Frank Gigs

Smith Street's Wil is doing some free, solo shows in Melbourne.

I have frequent flyer miles.

I think that's just a given now that I'm going.

Also the lovely and talented Emily Barker is doing some free shows in Sydney in January, and I'm going to make those, too.

Free is awesome!
