Re: To Take You Home live

So glad that everyone is in the same boat as me, wanting to hear Wanderlust! :D Have been secretly hoping that it would be played the last two shows I went to.

Rest of the tour could be dubbed, the "Out On Parole" tour.

Re: Writing a book?

I read some of the tour diary stuff. It was pretty lame: "I went on stage and played some songs. Managed a particularly good G# - not once, not twice, but thrice. Felt like Brian fucking May. After the show I did the kind of pee that could flood a small village. A girl tried to kiss me but I told h...

My first experience of Tape Deck Heart was reading the lyric booklet (on the bus, on my way to see Frank as it happens!) and I couldn't help but be blown away by how amazing they were just read.[/quote] I know what you're saying. I would be too. But then again, some of his lyrics are pretty much poetry anyway!
They're close, but poetry is a different form of art.

I agree about recording at gigs....get that f'n iPhone outta my field of vision! On the other hand, I enjoy taking pictures at shows. Allows me to look back & relive all the fun I had that evening.

Saw City & Colour last night. They were great, but the highlight for me was the opening act...Lucy Rose! She and her band were absolutely amazing! I recommend giving her a listen. If you have heard her before, what do you think?

That was a fantastic interview! Got very excited to read Frank has been heavy into Sam Cooke recently. Would love to hear him work on a Sam cover. And for those who think it wouldn't translate, The Doors did an incredibly rocking version of Little Red Rooster.

Thnkgeek? We have matching bags of holding. (We're nerds. My wedding ring is in dwarvish. No really.) They are great quality though. I'd pay good money for a FTHC one that was that quality. Gleena, what an awesome ring! I would love a bag of holding, makes me think of playing Pathfinder/Dungeons & ...
