Re: Am I a dinosaur?

2. All excellent guesses, except the song posted by Craven, which I did not listen to in its entirety. You see, it lost credibility when they named "brontosaurus", which isn't an actual dinosaur. It is a redundancy in naming, and is actually just an apatosaurus. It took me fucking years to get over...

Re: Non-Frank Gigs

I'm working near Bristol tomorrow and Thursday so I'm hoping to get to the free (Jim Lockey and the) Solemn Sun gig at the Exchange. Depends what time I get finished whether I get there or not but here's hoping!! Bloody hell... did you make it? That was frickin' awesome. Such a massive step forward...

Re: Non-Frank Gigs

I'm also thinking about going tomorrow. Does anyone know how big the venue is? It's over an hours drive for me, so don't want to miss out!

Mineral UK tour

https://www.facebook.com/OfficialMineralMusic

Now that the frenzy for the FT tour has died down, there's a UK Mineral tour to get excited about. Tickets on sale Friday.
Would be annoyd if I had forked out a tone of money to see them in the USA.

Did he give a reason for dropping the songs?

I get home check the website to get tickets to the next closest and there's Bath tickets back on sale. Booked 3 there and then. So if you didn't get the tickets you wanted - just keep checking!

If your looking for an album for this week - the new John MOuse album is officially out today. A good bit of anti-folk, obscene, popish stuff.

Re: 2000 Trees 2014

Disappointed that JL&tSS didn't perform I suppose, it's the first time they haven't played whilst I've been there, though from what I hear the band is going in a different direction and having now heard the new single, I can't wait to catch them in Bristol next month! Jim Lockey did a solo set acco...

Re: Sonisphere

I was there! I was the one in the Iron Maiden tshirt. Half way through the Anthrax set I wasn't sure that they could follow, but they slammed it - as always. Not a bad word from the crowd, lots of singing/dancing/clapping along. Couldn't see how far back the crowd went, but the front was packed. htt...

The new Mastodon album came out today, and it is a beast, but seeing as you found some of the albums you've reviewed already as a bit heavy for your liking you might want to stay clear :P

Maybe next time you won't need to drug her then

Still haven't decided! See some bands I would like to see or spend the day getting pissed dressed as a Jedi. Is there a full list of all the bands playing on the Saturday somewhere?
