Re: Tape Deck Heart

Got no Paypal confirmation though, which was what worried me. Hmm. have you gone into your paypal account separately? Yeah, it doesn't say it's gone through, no mention of it. But also doesn't mention other CD's I've bought this week, which have been sent so were definitely paid for. Maybe there's ...

Yeah, no confirmation either. I'm sure it's not, but it looked like a fake PayPal website. :S

Re: Tape Deck Heart

Ooh that's exciting. Does seem a long time away though...have pre-ordered none the less :P It might sound daft, but I hope it's not too 'sad' an album. Obviously songs are influenced by whatever the hell is going on in the head of whoever wrote them, but the reason I like his music so much, is that ...

Re: HMV and record shops

Tend to use play.com, cos of free delivery. Always buy headphones from HMV though, because they have Sennheiser. It's convinient, but definitely pricey and never really has what I want. Still think independent record shops are good though, because owners have more input into what they stock.

Re: Frank Turner Fans Lonely Hearts.

I remember hearing a lot of Blondie, ABBA, Ramones, Pixies, The Men They Couldn't Hang, The Manics as I was a bit older and 'Brucey-baby' (Springteen!) as my Mum would refer to him! Haha. Also distinctly remember my Mum's outrage as I destroyed a Talking Heads tape!

Re: Frank Turner Fans Lonely Hearts.

Did you ever find a date? There are enough fans out there, there must be someone! This isn't to do with lonely hearts, but in May I'll be a sister for the first time, and as I'm 19 (!) years older, I feel it's my duty to make sure she listen to Frank! Not sure I could cope with a sister who liked Du...
