Re: Strangest/worst thing you've seen whilst watching Frank

He seemed to like to take pictures of topless girls when they crowd surfed, too... Topless crowdsurfers?! Multiples of them? Weirdest thing I've ever done at a Frank gig was at wembley. We were down the front, two or three rows from the front and this idiot lad kept on trying to barge into/through ...

Re: Your Shows

bringing people up on stage actually kind of breaks the spell for me. it makes one person in the crowd different from the rest. we used to do it, but it didn't work for me somehow in the end. Not going to aim for a Dropkicks "see how many people we can get onstage for the final song" thing? He did ...

Re: Strangest/worst thing you've seen whilst watching Frank

I can't match these stories, and I've certainly never seen anyone performing sex acts at a gig (I guess you wouldn't get away with it at the Frog & Fiddle), but I saw a strange family at the Wembley Arena gig. During Billy Bragg I was stood near-ish the front, just where the crowd is a little more d...

Re: Your Shows

Hi Frank, I have a suggestion-please can you start wearing a hat on stage again? I think it would really improve the show. If you, a professional musician, need any more tips from someone like me on a forum then just send me a private message. Many thanks.

Re: Is anyone else getting a bit bored with the setlists?

I go to 1-3 frank shows a year, so I suppose it hasn't started boring me at all, the problem comes when people go to 15 shows in a row. Of course there's gonna be a lot of repeats.... think about it from the point of view of someone who is only going to go to one show for definite..... they better ...

Re: UK Arena Tour

I know that Frank has kind of said this himself before, but it's all swings and roundabouts. Who knows where he'll be playing in 5/10 years time? Bands like Idlewild and Ash have gone from playing to thousands to a couple of hundred at my local venue within the space of 8 years. Yet bands like Muse ...

Re: UK Arena Tour

Do we know if these will be all ages or is there any where I can find out? Thinking of doing a family weekend in Edinburgh as a mini holiday with the FT gig on the Saturday night as a highlight. This is the venue's website. The info is at the bottom. http://www.edinburghcornexchange.com/events Obvi...

Re: UK Arena Tour

I wonder if any of these will be two-staged affairs like Wembley was supposed to be? I don't think I'll be going to any of these as the closest ones are at least an hour and a half away on weeknights and it'll be hard to get there after work. 2 tickets plus petrol will be at least £80 which we can't...

Watching on TV. Too many shots of people on other people's shoulders.

Songs have been 3 Simple Words, If Ever I Stray, The Way I Tend To Be, Recovery and Photosynthesis plus a short interview.

Re: The "Everything Is Shit" Thread

I bashed my little finger whilst moving logs in the garden - the nail has gone blue. There goes my chance of finishing the laminate flooring in the living room today. Life is hard.

Re: Dream setlist

My favourite set lists were from the period just before Poetry Of The Deed was released. But now I'd go for this: 1. I Knew Prufrock 2. Father's Day 3. I Am Disappeared 4. Worse Things Happen At Sea 5. Long Live The Queen 6. My Kingdom For A Horse 7. Plain Sailing Weather 8. Wessex Boy 9. Love, Ire ...
