Re: Sexism in the music industry.

I looked up both of those bands that you mentioned in your second paragraph (forgive me for not knowing them, but I'm over 30) and I don't see the difference between them and any other pop band. I don't think, "It’s a vicious chain, bleeding into this world from that of pop," as you say. They are th...

Re: Super old interview (kneejerk era)

Takes me back to the days of 'UKHC.'

Used to really like HHH who frank mentions a few times.

Here's a really old interview I did with them http://www.organart.com/Inthhh.htm

Re: Show Setlists

Ah, I was at one of the POTD gigs at the Wheatsheaf in Oxford. Very good. Did a little solo encore that included Long Live The Queen, Ballad, Back In The Day and maybe one or two more.

LI&S at 2000 Trees was also excellent. Jet Lag sounded immense.

Re: Non-Frank Gigs

Ben Marwood was very good in Cheltenham last night. Pulling out a cover of 'No Children' for his second encore was brilliant. Enjoyed the Retrospective Soundtrack Players, especially the new song that Ben Marwood join them onstage for. And Joe Summers was awesome as usual - incredible voice - I real...

Re: Photosynthesis t-shirt

Maybe people more involved in arena shows could confirm this or not, but aren't part of the reason why shirts etc are so expensive inside the gig because the venue puts a levy on merchandise? When I was a teenager, I think I remember a punk alldayer (Deconstruction?) in about 2000 where the bands to...

Re: Time Machine

I guess part of it is because it's a bonus track on the fifth album - so many others that more people want to hear.

When songs like Father's Day & The Real Damage don't make it into set-lists, then it's unlikely that Time Machine will pop up regularly.

Re: A BRAND New cd each week this year - suggestions?

He wants to buy a newly released cd that is newly released that week in 2014! Not just any cd every week that someone recommends is good! I was trying to find somewhere that listed all the new releases for a certain date but couldn't find anything. Anyone else have better luck? I saw something on A...

Re: Best Gigs of 2013

Went to about 25 gigs in 2013 - none were spectacular except for The Wave Pictures at the Louisiana in Bristol, and Gabby Young & Other Animals at a house show in Cheltenham. Very entertaining.

Behind The Scene Gloucestershire fanzine (photos of Reuben)

I write an online fanzine for gigs and bands in Gloucestershire.

This month there are a few old live photos of Reuben from 2001. Feel free to have a look each month - there are 3 issues up at the moment!
