Re: From Philadelphia to New Hampshire

Well, it has been some time since I posted that. The wife has left. I had to adopt my dog out. Both of my children are staying with their mothers. I attempted suicide for the first time last week. Hopefully the next will be more successful. I still enjoy your music though it is a bit more bitter sw...

Things I've heard from my window

Been meaning to start this thread for a while. I sat next to Lxxh one afternoon at a mole mapping clinic in West London & randomly & bizarrely ran into her the next night at the Hatfield gig. She hears things from her window... :) Things I've heard from my window #23: " You seein her again then?" "N...

Re: [Talking] to Strangers on Trains

Sitting at the departure gate in Luxembourg last week I decided to ask the woman sitting opposite about the band on her shirt "The Flatliners". Turned out she'd been at the same gig & in the same hotel & we'd both just paid an eyewatering amount for a taxi to the airport. [The day before I'd done bu...

It's been a while since I did the Myers Brigg test which I found very interesting & informative. I came out as an ENFP. Out of interest which letters are yours, erasmus?

Enter, win, sell spare to cover travel, job done Don't give me ideas... Nah, I really can't afford it. I'd need an overnight stay, or otherwise risk missing the end of the show to be able to get back to Kings Cross to get the last train home. Just saying if you enter, win, raise cash for travel, et...

Re: The "Everything Is Shit" Thread

So I got put in charge of our (the Air Cadets Squadron where I volunteer) fund raising stall for a festival on the 21st in my town. We decided on a game of some sort. Only nobody has told me what budget I have, or what we're using as prizes, whether we're having one main prize or multiple little pr...

Re: "Think Before You Ink"

So I'm thinking how drunk before the person is too drunk to be tattoed? Or is it easier to tattoo someone the more inebriated they are? & surely the tattoist already takes precautions against contracting HIV etc?
