Re: Non-Frank Gigs

The Smith Street Band were at The Windmill in Brixton tonight. Fun seeing them in a small room. Different from but not better than seeing them supporting Frank in the US last year on a bigger stage. Catch them on tour in the UK while you can. They're back in London next Wednesday for a free show at ...

Re: Absolutely gutted

Sorry to hear this. Might seem a big & unexpected step but why don't you consider going to Nottingham on Friday. Obviously timing & everything depends on where you work & what time you can leave school on a Friday & budget. There's a standing ticket listed in the Ticket Exchange. There are FT Forum p...

Re: A BRAND New cd each week this year - suggestions?

Did anyone mention Algiers - debut album "You're The Captain" out on Monday 27th January on the Xtra Mile Recordings label?

Look for Algiers - Lighthouse on youtube.

Heard them supporting Jim Lockey & then Chris T-T at the end of September & they'll be at The Monarch again on 5th Feb (free entry)

Re: The I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY Thread

Just making a general comment on dating here: it pretty much blows. I don't think I'm going to do it anymore. This after a prospect gave me a three hour lecture on economics, which I'm quite sure I slept through a good part of. Even the waiter tried to change the subject hahahaha. Poor dude. Maybe ...

Re: Request for O2 Arena. Feb 12

Just for the record Frank played a cover (of a song he hadn't known before it was suggested to him) at his biggest headline show in the US last Saturday night in Boston. The crowd loved it. & at a tiny record store show (let's hear it for Main Street Music PA) he and Matt played Live & Let Die. I ca...
