MB must be Muslim Brotherhood, but I'm drawing a blank on Sisi. Perhaps the lot who think it's Islam's destiny to destroy the world? Can't remember what they're called?

Trying hard not to think about Syria. Failing. Redirecting to this Artie: http://c.washingtontimes.com/neighborhood/business-living/2013/aug/25/5-stages-becoming-anarchist/ Anyone? I am a 2. Re: Strangest/worst thing you've seen whilst watching Frank

Evidently American gigs are extremely boring. I thought you English were supposed to be all stiff upper lip and shit? The "worst" thing (not Frank) was probably at my first concert, aged 11 with my sisters, the band (how fucking embarrassing is this?) Chicago, circa 1986. A guy with a white guy Afro...

Re: Uk dates

There are three things that make me a rabid FT fan: 1) Music, obviously; 2) The things not exactly directly related to the music but definitely incorporated within it, specifically how clearly intelligent and well-educated (self education as much as anything formal) and the ethos this creates within...

Re: Tattoo Ban

No worries, Gleena. I'm just some random (haha this originally said "ransom") music lover from Tennessee, not anyone whose beliefs on the topic matter in the least, to pretty much anyone lol, but I really appreciate your last comments. I am in much the same situation as far as my political views bei...

Re: Is anyone else getting a bit bored with the setlists?

I love Frank's shows because, more than most live bands I've seen, he makes you feel like part of something bigger, maybe even something important, at least in that moment. I don't get that from anyone else much lately and don't go to many shows anymore, but Frank's shows feel more inclusive (grante...

Re: Tattoo Ban

Wow, this is ridiculous. Some of the comments (I know, you should never read the comments) are equally baffling Yeah, that second comment basically says "the government has to be a good parent and impose some boundaries". The government as a fucking parent? From an American! I thought the best thin...

Re: Tattoo Ban

But I don't see the marginalization of a party as helpful in the end though. The end I have in sight, when I'm not blinking back tears of impending defeat anyway, is one in which people embrace the idea that the government doesn't control them. Amen to that. The problem is the Republicans in their ...

Re: Tattoo Ban

It may well have a root in pro-life causes. If they can make it where dermal implantation is defined as a "medical treatment" and only allowed to happen in certain "medical facilities" then maybe they can limit the locations of a certain other medical procedure to only certain other medical faciliti...

Re: Tattoo Ban

I think a lot of it is apathy, really, and just extreme shortsightedness. I suspect there was a good intention somewhere; perhaps 2 or 3 people got near fatal infections from a dermal implant and some doctors said that should really be considered a "medical procedure" and thus the bill was written....

Re: Merch Pricing

I think $20 for a t shirt in the US this summer. Don't think I bought anything else as I already have the albums and other stuff isn't my thing. We did buy hoodies a couple of years ago but I am not sure of price, thinking $30 or $35 but don't quote me. What show/s you going to? I'll be in Atlanta a...

Re: Books?

have moved on to The Diaries of John Rabe, the good German of Nanking. Not an easy read as it covers this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanking_Massacre Thankfully I have Tennessee Williams to help me lighten the mood, find it hard to just read one book now. I literally feel sick. What is it in the ...
