Get better documentary score

Hi Frank. I just watched the 'Get better' documentary. I had not been able to make it to the showing back in December. Enjoyed it very much.
I was wondering if Matt's documentary score is available anywhere?

Re: Non-Frank Gigs

GLASTONBURY There was a rumour that Frank would be the very special guest on Strummerville on the Sunday. Then this special guest was going to be Frank Carter, and in the end it wasn't him (pun intended). Thanks to Frank (T) for putting out a very clear Twitter message to quench the Strummerville ru...

Beautiful Days

That is some line up! It took me exactly 24 hours to convince myself that it was okay to add another festival to the summer plans. No less than four acts I like so much that I have everything they ever put out (Frank, Waterboys, Kíla and Lankum/Lynched), two more I am a big fan of (Damien Dempsey, E...

Re: Non-Frank Gigs

I saw Martin Simpson in Greystones, Co.Wicklow. Have been a fan since I came across him at Cambridge Folk Festival ten years ago. This was a rare opportunity to see him in Ireland. Amazing guitar playing, great stories and wonderful songs. Couldn't be bettered!

Re: Non-Frank Gigs

A week ago I saw Maria McKee at St Patrick's Cathedral here in Dublin. This was a really big deal for me. I have been a fan since the first Lone Justice album came out in 1985. I saw Lone Justice only once, but Maria McKee every time she toured. Her six solo albums are fantastic and I never tire of ...

Re: Van the Man

Totally agree, NickSouthampton. It's peculiar to read the American Springsteen forum at the moment. Bruce has been coming out with mild and reasonable criticism of Trump and this really upsets the redneck section of his American audience. I cannot even get my head around this, but there you go. I ha...

Re: Van the Man

It's that old question - is it necessary to like the musician in order to love the music.
I don't think so. It helps, but it is not a prerequisite.

Re: Springsteen

First time I have ever come across a podcast featuring Bruce. I know nothing about Marc Mahon or his podcast, but this is a fascinating chat. This one is all about psychological stuff, hardly any music talk.

Re: Obligations of Artists

Agree with all of the above. There is no obligation. That said, it does mean a lot to people, so if an artist is comfortable doing it, which Frank seems to be more than any artist I can think if, then it is worth doing. There shouldn't be an expectation though that this is part of the deal when you ...
