Re: Who should win The Best Troublemaker Award?

I voted terminally ill child, that one was crazy. I thought I'd missed fluffy kittens, then I realised its an auto replace for the room where you cook, which might have got my vote. This explains SO much. I was just about to mention the "room where you cook" posts, which were annoying as hell. Have...

Re: Distraction Pieces Podcast

Agree with Susanne on all points. As an additional note, I had no idea Scroobius Pip is a stutterer, as I'd never heard an interview or podcast with him before. I think it's admirable that he doesn't let that hold him back from recording a regular podcast

Jan. 2015 - solo show with Butch Walker - Los Angeles

For anyone curious, a little report on Frank’s first show of 2015 last night (20 January) at the Hotel Café in Los Angeles— It was billed as a band called “DTF” (go read the hints posted on Twitter if you haven’t already...funny stuff), which Frank later explained was not just because he was a sleaz...

Re: 2014 Gigs

The last period of my life I had time to make lists like this was about ten years ago when I was only working part-time. But I've enjoyed scanning all your lists, and jealous of everyone who got to see Frank play more than once or twice last year.

Re: Dream setlist

Just give me one playing of "Wanderlust" and the rest is up to Frank and the guys. I've never been disappointed in their choices thus far. Plus, the anticipation of what song will be played next is part of the excitement of live gigs.

Re: Book

I blame the fact that final grades (marks) were due that week, and I was scrambling to deal with stacks of ignored papers, for the fact that I totally missed out on this. I bet Scott K. ordered a fan edition, though... maybe I'll have to beg to borrow his! (Hint, hint.) I'll definitely be getting th...

Cheers for answering despite the prior "warning." And even cooler with the chosen date. Yes, but now you must face an unspoken punishment...may you live to warn other souls. I'll do my best! I'm not on these forums every day, but believe me, if I see the opportunity to use the "Stop fucking asking ...

Re: The FTHC Bones decal

Haha. I think we have only "met" in cyberland. Slowly, but surely I am meeting people, so hopefully our paths will cross one day. Fancy a cruise? Seriously considering it, but I don't take non-refundable investments of that size lightly, especially as it will require me also buying a flight from LA...

Re: "Make Way" video

I was literally coming back here to amend my post by referencing that, which I obviously hadn't seen before asking my question.

Well, now I'll understand if I don't get an answer. I can live with the mystery, especially since the answers on that site are so fucking funny. Well played.

"Make Way" video

I'm loving "Make Way", and think the video concept was brilliant in its simplicity. Entertaining all (a)round. What I'd give to see MH live without a 6,000 mile plane flight required!

Must ask, though--is that truly vintage footage in the video, or just made to look that way?

This whole thread makes me happy. Hope to meet you one day, too, Darlene. (Unless I have already, in which case I'm a forgetful idiot. Totally within the realm of possibility.)

Re: Flogging Molly Cruise 2015

Ummm.... HOLY SHIT. Just saw this on FB, have several friends considering/planning on going, and my fear of missing out is in full swing right now. Why can't St. Paddy's Day fall during my spring break?! If I manage to pull this off, it may be a sign that I've truly recovered from my perennial case ...
