Re: Inspiration?

Frank's music has primarily brought friends in to my life that have got me through cancer, paralysis and bereavement. The music itself has helped my mood, made me smile and helped me to recover from many shit periods in my life. FT and the SS have also given me, indirectly, so many opportunities to ...

Good luck Jules! I miss you, mate, I'll sponsor you once I've recovered from the hideous 14 hour car journey. Must see you soon! Xx

Re: The "Everything Is Shit" Thread

I was never told to use any fancy creams with any of mine, even Googling there are conflicting opinions which I guess means that no one way has been identifying as helping tattoos heal best. So, chill, keep it meticulously clean, if your cream turns up that's great but if all else fails it'll probab...

Re: It's suddenly got really busy here ...

Oh and I love that it's busy and that people can come here for support. Hell, I have enough! But the GH thread didn't feel like that for whatever reason. But I love that it's busy and the more the merrier etc etc! X

Re: It's suddenly got really busy here ...

That was a tad harsh, sorry. The other thread was different to EIS though as it seemed to be a catalogue of all the awful things that have happened to people. Which are all awful, I'm not questioning that, but they didn't all seem wholly relevant to the discussion, t'is all. But yes, harsh, I'm sorry.

We Shall Not Overcome is awesome live. Frank played it in Brooklyn in July and, especially given that it's a song only on the deluxe album, it had an amazing crowd response. It also sounded fab!

Re: Someone convince me

I really dislike them and never feel the same energy wise in the encore as I do during the main gig. Like you say, I think it's mainly to stroke egos and I pretty much think it ruins the energy and flow of the set. But maybe it's just me!

Re: Glory Hallelujah

It's tricky I agree, I am still on the bench about how I feel about it, with my c of e primary school upbringing it makes me squirm. On a less controversial note, it's the double negative used that makes me flinch....in truth you could sing that 'there never was no God'....very unlike ft. The doubl...
