Re: Book

It might be terrible. What if it's all like "Played a gig tonight. I was brilliant. On a scale of 1-10 I would definitely have scored a 14. Afterward I signed some boobs. They were a 7. To celebrate I had a bacon sandwich WITH CHEESE. No fucking expense spared for this colossus of man. Tonight I wi...

Re: Need insight here.....

I think it's also worth saying that without Frank either promoting them and or having them as supports, I wouldn't have discovered loads of my favourite bands/singers, some of whom I now count as friends. And I'll always be grateful to him for that.

Re: Need insight here.....

That reminds me. On the subject of bizarre support I saw GLC support feeder. It didn't go down well. Ha! I went to that tour, I actually enjoyed it, but for most it went down like a shit sandwich. 'Hey! We're both Welsh, this is bound to work!' I have to say, I'm very reluctant to be negative about...

Re: Your least favorite FT song

This is difficult, so I'm going to cheat and name a few. (Sorry!) There are so many that I really love, but Sons of Liberty really doesn't do anything for me, (an opinion which tends to be super unpopular), Must Try Harder, Undeveloped Film (interesting as a story but I'm not a fan of the song itsel...

Re: Thoughts on Broken Piano

Broken Piano (and, in fact most of TDH) really grew on me. First few times I heard it I just didn't get it. When we did the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, it came on my iPod as I was just getting to the top of Whernside and in that setting, with an amazing view, it sounded incredible. That, and hearing it live,...

I'm sat on my arse drinking pints of tea and eating pastries. I'm laughing now, but working 12hr shifts all weekend & nights Monday/Tuesday. So I guess you get your own back then.

This is one of the few things I do like about that song. Evan wrote an epic rant about it on here once. So good.

Re: FEST 13 recommendations, anyone??

Having just had a quick look I'd say don't miss Allison Weiss or Ducking Punches. Have fun. It's a pretty cool lineup! I was going to make a list but realised it'd just be a list of bands that I know of, but haven't actually listened to, and therefore probably not helpful! I completely agree about ...

UK TOUR!!

Don't suppose you fancy a road trip to sunny Wakey Evan? (No, neither do I, but it's better than Hull...)

Re: UK TOUR!!

I've made the decision - after missing a year's worth of gigs that I had booked - to not try for this tour. The disappointment of tickets and plans having to be cancelled because I'm not well isn't fun. If I'm well I'll be on the lookout here/on Twitter for last minute tickets. I'm really hoping to...

Re: UK TOUR!!

Billetto are new apparently, but definitely legit. Rang the venue and spoke to the organiser and all good. Plus basically no booking fee, so much cheaper!

Bought my tickets through Billetto? Never heard of them and now freaking out that they might not be real?
