I saw Chuck Ragan at the Windmill, which was rather enjoyable. Strangely although the show was sold out, it was far from packed towards for Chuck's set. I also really enjoyed the main support of Sam Russo.

Terrible news on the Flowerpot. :(

Hopefully Lexapalooza can still be rescued. I don't really want to jump in with a suggestion for where to relocate, but if Evan wants suggestions I'd (as I guess we all would) be happy to help.

60% of our contracts at work are for the public Sector, so I'm feeling slightly insecure with work. But, our IT Manager just left and I'm going to be taking on quite a large chunk of his workloads so hopefully I'll be okay.

I'm also going to the first London GYBE show, infact it's the only gig I've got planned for the remainder of the year. For the last few years I'd typically do 60-70 gigs a year. This year I've been to around 5 I think. However I did see The Damned in a park in Croydon on Saturday though, for free.

I'll need to grab that Dr Dog album, pretty sure I saw them a few years back supporting Mistys Big Adventure at the Windmill, and they were quite enjoyable. Just one of those bands I never revisited. and yes the Walter Schreifels album is superb. I'm currently listening to Hold Your Horse Is. I pres...

I went to my Uncles funeral today. Was a really nice service; the vicar really was hilarious. My uncle died of a brain tumour, which he had only been diagnosed with a week before his death. Really make you think how precious life is. I hadn't seen my Aunt for quite a few years due to a family argume...

Yeah it was great. Opening with Cut Your Hair 8) When we came out of Brixton tube a tout was trying to sell tickets for a fiver and I wasn't expecting anything. But I asked another tout and he gave me a fiver for the ticket, not great but better than nothing. Two other friends had spare tickets as w...

I'm seeing Pavement at Brixton tomorrow. I was going with 2 others but one pulled out a while back and I've not been able to shift the spare ticket.

Does anyone want a ticket for Pavement tomorrow for a nominal fee?
