Re: Non-Frank Gigs

Just seen Slaves. They were brilliant. Their backdrop has got a lot bigger since I last saw them, they now have lights and their name behind them! They are still the same though, with their 'Fuck it' attitude. I love how the lead singer seems to have gone "shit, we need a drummer but I can't be arse...

Surely after reading the book you should know that Frank likes it tight ... like a tiger!
I really should get round to reading that.

Re: London

The London Wunderground is back on Southbank from 7th May. It's pretty cool to visit even if you don't have tickets to the shows. Last year there was a carousel bar.

Re: London

Wow, thanks Bella for all the links! This is all really helpful. I'm thinking about trying to see something on West End from the cheap seats, but I'll definitely look beyond West End as well. Another question though- any recommendations for pubs and the like you'd recommend? If you're around Shafte...

Re: London

Get buses rather than the tube if you have time. You get to see a bit more that way (although be prepared to spend 5 minutes looking at the same bit when stuck in traffic). Take a trip to Greenwich. You can get there by Thames Clipper if you fancied a change of transport. There's the Cutty Sark, Roy...

Re: New cd reviews...........

Two fantastic releases last week. Drenge - Undertow and Turbowolf - Two Hands. Drenge's second album has a bit more depth to it than their debut because this time round they've gained a bassist (ex-Wet Nuns, another fab duo who are sadly no more). I haven't decided on my favourite track yet as they'...

Giant strawberries. Cookery workshops and oven showcases.

The music side of it was good.
Don't forget the car showroom that was near the giant strawberry

Re: Punk Rock Bowling

If Frank asks for volunteers then don't offer. He has started doing magic tricks mid-set. He hasn't quite mastered the art of sawing people in half yet so if you like your body in one piece stay quiet. Also, to fill up the empty spaces where The Sleeping Souls would usually be, he has carnival dance...

First place for me is Frank who I've seen 72 times. Second place is Kaiser Chiefs with 64 shows. No idea who is in third place.
