Re: Book

I bought the fan version because I didn't want to miss out, but I did think it was rather steep. Presumably the price was necessary to cover the costs of producing a limited edition?

Re: New album

Thanks for the detailed response Frank. I agree Balthazar should've been on EKMB - I always thought it could have been a hidden track after Glory Hallelujah.

Re: New album

I once met someone who reckoned The Second Three Years was the best album ever recorded. Hahahaha, wow, really? I mean, each to their own... Frank, which album of yours would you currently consider to be your best work (aside from the one you're working on)? I know around the time of the release of...

Re: New album

So for those who were at Hereford, or have heard a lot of the new songs, what does the album sound like? Do the songs share a particular style?

Million Dead in Kerrang! (2003)

I was sorting through some old magazines from when I was a kid and I found an interview with Million Dead from 2003. "Frank Turner is tall, gawky and slightly awkward... If he were in a band he'd be the guy selling the t-shirts. Except that Frank Turner is in a band, and he's not the guy selling T-s...

It would help to know what you already listen to. Have you tried Billy Bragg, Ben Marwood, Dylan, Springsteen, The Hold Steady, The Weakerthans?

Re: Leicester request

I don't suppose anyone here managed to get a video of Romantic Fatigue from the Leicester show?

Re: Third Three Years?

Good tracklist - nearly all tracks I either don't own or own digitally but not physically, so it'll be nice to have them all on CD. Obviously there wasn't room for the TDH bonus tracks or some of the covers released on EPs (Who's Got a Match, Modern Leper), but I'm glad the slightly rarer recordings...

Ah man, did Frank hang out after the show? I didn't stick around as I didn't think he would be.

Re: Leicester request

Fantastic night - was amazing to hear Romantic Fatigue, and the new songs were great too. Probably one of the best FT shows I've seen. Cheers Frank!
