Re: UK Tour - November

My boyfriend and I will go to both Southampton shows. Well, actually I kinda booked tickets for the first Southampton show in a very impulsive state of mind, texted my boyfriend afterwards "if you don;t want to go due to costs, ill go by myself" but he wanted to go and then a second show was announ...

Re: What Music Did You First Buy with your Own Money?

Placebo - Soulmates Never Die and Absolution by Muse. I bought loads of stuff before that but these were the first CD's I bought with money I had earned.

Re: Safe Gigs for Women

I feel very fortunate that I have nothing I can share with you, I know I'm in the minority when it comes to harassment at gigs. I know of an incident at an Amanda Palmer gig in Glasgow (I think?) where a young lady was deliberately urinated on by a man, it should come up with a cursory google. This ...

Re: The Next Storm - radio play

Whilst I've not heard it on the radio yet, I have noticed that The Next Storm and Mittens are on at least some pub jukeboxes now :)

Re: Your first cry to a FT song

Long Live the Queen and Anymore are tied for my first cry, I think.

Cried hardest to Plain Sailing Weather, though.

Re: PSFNP

After further listening, Glorious You, Out of Breath and Josephine are the ones nestling in my heart. I think Out of Breath is my new mantra, and I'm working on a tattoo design and hoping to incorporate a lyric from PS4NP somewhere. Possibly from the Next Storm. Bonus: I found Mittens on the jukebox...

Re: Would like a FT song as a first wedding dance

When me and my wife got married back in June we had The way I tend to be (the acoustic version from 3rd 3 years) as our first dance song then into 4 simple words to get people onto the dance floor. We also had Hits & Mrs playing while we signed the wedding register. Our top table was the Frank Turn...

Re: Quick question re: 'bootlegs' (live recordings)

Hi Powermonkey- would love to hear this if available ? Working on it. Just trying to nail the 'mastering' and then I need to quickly chop it into seperate tracks - recorded at a decent quality so at the mo it's too big to upload (3.5gb) - will put it on my soundcloud page (https://soundcloud.com/li...

Daily Doodle 8/8 - a drawing of Frank

Every day I do a doodle - limited by a set of 30 fineline pens and without any kind of sketching it out first. Whatever I put down on paper is what I have to work with, mistakes n' all. I'm on day 117 and have drawn pretty much everything you can imagine, musicians, animals, memories, day dreams, wh...
