Re: PSFNP

I honestly love the album after my first one and a half listens. The Angel Islington is the perfect way to open things. I hadn't heard Love Forty Down or Out of Breath before and those two really stuck out as ones that embodied the album for me. Loved the lyrics in Demons. Song For Josh was heartbre...

Another Loretta Lynn one, "You Ain't Woman Enough to Take My Man". So good.

Re: Introvert or Extrovert?

I have to say that I find the label "ambivert" or whatever kind of ridiculous, because doesn't it mean that sometimes you are introverted and sometimes you're more extraverted? That describes a solid 99% of people.

Re: Pre-Sale tickets for Pre-ordered new album buyers

Missed out by 4 minutes, it's not like I tried in the afternoon! Don't need this shit anyway, was going to see him before the bandwagon started rolling. Before he became just another Olympic sell-out!!! Thanks for nothing. You are the fucking bandwagon, eejit. There is no need to swear, I'm not sur...

Re: Your first cry to a FT song

God, a couple years back I got broken up with over a text message while in the waiting room at the doctor's office to get some antibiotics for strep throat. I was sick as a dog and absolutely heartbroken. Screamed and cried my heart out when Worse Things Happen At Sea came on while I was driving bac...

Re: Introduce Yourself

I forgot about this and kind of just jumped into things, but better late than never! I'm Hannah, I'm 20 and currently living in Glasgow, though I'm from SoCal and will be back in LA in a few weeks. I study psychology, work in a preschool, and really enjoy traveling and meeting new people. I first he...

Re: London

I'll definitely get some tourist-y stuff in, because hey, I'm a tourist. And that pizza looks delicious so I might have to get some of that in as well, haha. And I'm in Glasgow until June, but unfortunately only going to be in London for a couple days (though I could possibly spend another couple d...

Re: New cd reviews...........

Mumford and sons anyone? I don't love it. It's not really that bad, but I just don't find anything that distinguishes it from the standard soft rock stuff that plays on adult-alternative radio stations. It's inoffensive but overall kind of bland. Maybe I just miss the banjo too much and it's blurri...

Please, Send for New Politicians. It's Frank getting political to an unforeseen degree in celebration of the upcoming elections. Obviously.

Re: London

Yay Skinny Lister! Not sure if you've seen them live before, but they put on a fucking fine show. Saw them opening for Frank a while ago, had no idea who they were, and immediately loved them so much I almost didn't want Frank's set to start... I just saw them on Glasgow a few days ago. It was such...

Re: London

Wow, thanks Bella for all the links! This is all really helpful.
I'm thinking about trying to see something on West End from the cheap seats, but I'll definitely look beyond West End as well.

Another question though- any recommendations for pubs and the like you'd recommend?

London

Hiya Met you at your book event in Glasgow. I'm from California, in Europe until June, you said to visit London because "it's the best city in the world". What makes it the best and what should I do while I'm there? Already seeing Skinny Lister on the 8th, so that will occupy one night! (ps: this is...
