Re: Show 2000
Hi Frank, I just wanted to say a big 'congratulations' on show 2000. I'm sure you have heard this a lot lately, but maybe it's worth saying again that your music has meant so much to so many of us. Thanks for doing what you do, getting around the world so that we can all see your live shows, and con...

Re: A Cat Named Virtute
Wow, the lyrics to Virtute At Rest are amazing. I am both awestruck and in tears over this song right now. It's such an appropriate ending to the story.

Re: Any Sugestions for current songwriters?
Since The Weakerthans (John K Samson) and Mountain Goats have already been recommended, I will add Josh Ritter to this list. He is from the same part of the world as I am (Northwest U.S.), so it may just be that I feel a bit of a 'hometown' connection to some of his lyrics (e.g., "Idaho", "Snow Is G...

Josh Ritter
If you've got a couple minutes to spare, this seems like one you might like. The handwritten lyric video is obviously reminiscent of "Get Better". Nice little nod to Tom Petty in the middle (or so it seems to me, anyway), and very cool lyrics, especially from 1:47-2:06. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v...

Re: US Pre-sale issues
I used my pre-sale code to get tickets for my brother to the 9:30 Club and, the same as with you, it said that he would have to pick up the tickets at the venue. I used PayPal - had no strange issues with the transaction. Got my confirmation code and all seems fine. If you got a confirmation email, ...

Re: Pre-Sale tickets for Pre-ordered new album buyers
For fucks sake, Frank has a few well deserved days off and he has to deal with assholes pissing and moaning about tee shirt prices and self entitled people complaining they missed out on tickets because they were late getting internet access. Way to show your love people!! BTW I don't think it's me...
Re: PSFNP
Woohoo! This is so exciting - just pre-ordered the double album plus the art print. The Next Storm sounds awesome! I loved it live, and am really impressed that the record seems to capture the same energy. Matt Nasir, in particular, rules. Good news on all the tour dates as well. Wish I was back in ...

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hi, I'm Sara and it just occurred to me that I never introduced myself when I joined the forum. I don't post much, but I do read lots of your posts and find them very enjoyable. First heard Frank on a tip from a fellow Bad Religion fan back in 2009 (KerouacCat, are you on this forum? If so, thank yo...

Re: Den Atelier - Luxembourg
Got our tickets and now all my friends cancelled.. Not sure if I should go alone or just stay home. (It's an 2,5hr drive from Belgium) I hope you made it to the show. It was great - super high energy. I went by myself too, and got to meet some new friends. Also, Frank even played a song I requested...

Okay, cool. I just booked a room at a place down the road from you - Hotel Pax. Looking forward to meeting you and hanging out! I'm really, really excited for the show.

Re: Den Atelier - Luxembourg
I'm going (driving over there from Germany and staying the night in a B&B down the road from the venue). I'm not familiar with the area though, so I guess this reply isn't of much help to you, sorry. But if you might want to meet up before the show... let me know :) Yes, would love to meet up befor...

Den Atelier - Luxembourg
Is anybody going to the Luxembourg show on June 4th? I am taking the train over from Paris. I've never been to Luxembourg before and have a couple of questions for anybody who lives there or is familiar with the area.
