Saint Vitus shows

Hello, Will there be any openers for the Saint Vitus shows or are you on at 7:00? I'm debating whether or not to make the drive back and forth from D.C on the same day.

Frightened Rabbit/Thank You

Hello. Will you get a chance to see some of the Midnight Organ Fight 10th anniversary shows? Just saw the two D.C dates and both were stunners.
I discovered Frightened Rabbit after hearing one of your covers of Modern Leper a while back and I'm immeasurably grateful for the introduction!

Re: 2018 Summer Festivals

I'm certainly no expert on the matter but I've seen and heard through the rumor mill that they won't. Guess they're a bit busy with some other touring they've got going on??

Re: Women in Music

I agree, From Austin to Boston is definitely worth seeing! Filmmaker, James Marcus Haney's story of going from sneaking into festivals because he couldn't afford to get in to becoming Mumford and Sons full time photographer/videographer is pretty impressive! I've still got to make the time to see hi...

Re: Women in Music

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Check out Haim if you have a chance. They may not be in everyone's wheelhouse and I was a bit surprised when they opened, along with Bear's Den, for Mumford and Sons in 2013. Nevertheless, they hooked me. Happiest of holidays to you and your loved ones.

Women in Music

Hello Frank, Thank you for all the work you do with Safe Gigs for Women. Seems like an absolute no brainer but I know not everyone gets it. I'm curious to know some of the women in music; past and present that have influenced you. On a related note, are you familiar with Haim, the L.A based band mad...

Can you reveal whether or not we'll hear influences from your trip to Sierra Leone and involvement with Way Out Arts on the new album?

Re: Lost Evenings

Hello Frank, While getting ready for this weekend, any song(s) from the back catalogue you and The Sleeping Souls were especially surprised you've missed playing? Or anything prove to be particularly challenging after being on the shelf for a while?
Wish I could be there!

The Shins

Just heard an interview with James Mercer of The Shins and it made me wonder if you're a fan?

Re: Non-Frank Gigs

Went to U Street Music Hall in D.C for another Bear's Den show last night. As usual, they put on a good one. Gill Landry was the opener. I've heard a bit of Old Crow Medicine Show but first time seeing Mr Landry. What a fantastic songwriter/storyteller and guitarist! Another argument not to skip the...

Lost Evenings?

Hi Frank, Wondering if you can confirm that the 2nd night is officially sold out? I tried to check out tickets via the link and had no luck. There's still some available for nights 3 and 4 and the idea of seeing you and Scott on the same stage along with Skinny Lister the following night makes me re...
