Re: Railway gig on Sunday

Does anyone know the name of the support artist last night? I thought it was Fitz, but not sure. I would like to listen to some more of his music. Yes, his name was Fitz, but I can't find any of his solo stuff anywhere. The band he is in is called Bombs and they have a facebook page https://www.fac...

Re: Will Varley

Will is such a cool guy - I took my Mum to a gig of his in Kent and he insisted on ensuring she had somewhere to sit, shuffling people around himself (I think she was partly blown away by his chivalry whilst a little bit put off that he thought she was old enough to need a chair haha!) Unfortunately...

Re: If you could make a fantasy band...

I am not really sure you have considered the dynamics of this band very much. I mean, for a start, Dolly Parton and Bruce Springsteen would possibly make an interesting duet, but their vocal styles are so vastly different that it could be nothing more than a novelty record (maybe for Christmas). Re: Introduce Yourself

Fan since 2011, but only recently discovered the forum. Live in South London (and proud, thanks Frank!) Have discovered some great new music through FT and fellow fans, so hoping for some more new leads of London gigs, as well as pontificating the talent of Mr Turner and the Sleeping Souls

If you could make a fantasy band...

Hi Frank, and everybody, because this isn't an exclusive question, I was chatting to a fellow music lover recently and they posed this question: 'If you could create a band with 5 people in it, who would they be?' Rules are, you have to have a lead singer, guitarist, bass, drummer and keys . At leas...

Re: sports fandom vs. music fandom & what FT's music means t

Thank you for posting this, how true your eloquent words are. I am so tired of being labelled as a groupie and all of the negative connotations that it brings. I do think this is a particular issue for women, and I have had so many conversations with people who assume that I am more interested in th...
