Re: Where does Tape Deck Heart fit in?

1 - Love Ire & Song
2 - Campfire Punkrock
3 - England Keep My Bones
4 - Poetry Of The Deed
5 - Sleep Is For The Week
6 - Tape Deck Heart .... Not that it's a particularly bad album, it's been on repeat for me.. But just lacks something that was in the others.

Worrys Averted??

I joined here before the release of TDH, just after Recovery was released. I was really worried about the direction Frank could be heading in. Massive fan since 2005(ish), I've got all the releases on Vinyl and the other day the new record dropped through the box. First listen, I wasn't too sure. No...

Re: Frank breaking through to the mainstream?

Half my family are REALLY into politics and stuff, trust me, if it were even the slightest bit political I wouldn't be at all interested! As it were, it's the music I listen to the most. Also to be quite honest, if all this bothers you so much, why on earth are you on this forum? Sure FT has change...

Re: Frank breaking through to the mainstream?

It's not fair to judge on the first single, that much is true. I guess I am just thinking that if this turns out to be a pop-friendly radio 1 album then Frank has missed a trick. Years he has had political values at the core of his show, they've certainly dropped off of recent, which is a shame. If ...

Re: Frank breaking through to the mainstream?

Hi, I came to this forum to gauge how people felt about this topic after getting a little worried myself. I've been watching FT shows since maybe 2005ish when he was playing to literally 30 people in a room. He was singing passionate songs which were inspired. Picking up the torch from those acts wh...
