I have a couple of spares in block 119 - pretty decent seats, if anyone is interested - £120 the pair - can post "next-day", meet in London this week, or at the stadium on saturday.
Cheers

Re: Top Gear

Funnily enough I had always assumed that you couldn't drive, not sure where I picked it up from

You're the annoying useless one who can never drive mates to the pub, always drinks, needs picking up etc etc

We all know someone like you Frank.....

Re: Interscope Records

[quote="marowak"] - nice points The difference between majors and indies has always been a bit blurred, and anybody lazily criticizing is likely to have little idea how the whole shebang works together. Creation had an uber-cool reputation, but were propped up by Sony for years. Oasis were signed to...

Re: Interscope Records

Noooooooo, first the Pope retires, then Oscar Pistorius, now Frank sells out to the Man What is happening to all my heroes? Has anybody actually complained on this forum, or are people just emailing death threats direct to Frank? Disclaimer - views expressed in most of my posts are not necessarily w...

Re: Website Redesign

How about a thumbs up button, like the old Word Magazine blog, so we can show agreement or appreciation of a post, without necessarily having anything to add

Re: Springsteen

@Bossman66 - is that pic of you outside the house that's on the "My Hometown" picture sleeve ? It'll be the tree on Randolph St. All that's left of Springsteen's childhood home. Well, there's no tree on the sleeve, and his pose is all wrong. But apart from that it's pretty cool I suppose.....*grumb...

Re: Website Redesign

and, how about an area specifically for links to and discussion of, ahem, "fan based recordings" Like the Webster Hall soundboard recording etc Possibly a copyright minefield, or at least a grey area But, certainly not advocating the misuse or otherwise of any "officially" released recordings, ie th...

Re: Website Redesign

How about some kind of members area, or subscription service ? Not too expensive but enough of a commitment Could provide a bit of a revenue stream Help beat the touts - maybe with occasional membership only gigs. Badlands in Cheltenham used to have a club for Bruce fans that eventually morphed into...

Re: Simple, quite random question

Quite a few years ago, before any of the recent, er, allegations, I happened to be involved in the Spanish property market, and was in Freddie Starr's villa. He wasn't there btw.

Anyway, in his fluffy kitten, he had a little stereo and a stack of CD's of HIS OWN ALBUMS only

That's all.

Re: BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN - WEMBLEY 2013 - TICKET WANTED

Here in the US, they tend to do multiple ticket drops in the weeks leading to the show. Last April I was in NYC for work and grabbed a ticket for one of the shows a couple weeks out via a drop like that. There's a whole bunch of folks on the BTX board (Fan board) who try to help each other out ther...

The Troggs Tapes

The genius of Reg Presley and The Troggs.

Frank will no doubt confirm that this is exactly how the magic is created in the studio.......

Warning, contains bad language and West Country accents.

Re: Why are you so slow?

The Beatles appeared to be soap dodgers too....

Woke up, fell out of bed,
Dragged a comb across my head
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup,
And looking up I noticed I was late.
Found my coat and grabbed my hat
Made the bus in seconds flat
