Re: Worst Cover?

I did a cover of Reasons Not To Be An Idiot last year, it's by no means brilliant as I'm a flautist, not a singer/guitarist! But it was fun and that song meant a lot to me when I did it. I don't think music is always about proficiancy or even sounding good! Music should be for everyone. :) This! Ha...

Re: I tried this at home

Hello! Am a very very novice guitarist; really beginner and I was wondering what the easiest Frank song to attempt to play would be. I play the flute and piano but just can't get to grips with the guitar; I'm hoping that a good song will give me the motivation to play guitar a bit better...

Thanks :)

Re: The infamous (A# ?!?) Chord on Vital Signs?

According to this chord namer (revision pushes me to desperate procrastination), it's F#M7add4/A# if we take into account the correction with the bottom E to the 6th fret (i.e. to A# rather than to F on the original tab). Ben Marwood
Fake Problems (I should have known them before but no matter)
Sean Mcgowan (kind of, I met him before Frank's gig in Southampton) - he's really worth a listen!
Tim OT (also met him at Frank's gig in Southampton)
Guerilla Poubelle

Re: Does anyone ever worry about music related tattoos??

I always knew what my first tattoo would be from the age of about 13/14 i went in a few tattoo shops and left before they started. One had ink in the needle and was less then 1cm away. I was probably 25 before i got it done. The outline was fine till i looked down and saw a tiny amount of blood wit...

Re: Embarrassing bands you dig

Muse. They used to be quite cool, now they are a wee bit embarrassing but I love them. Anyway, I am eternally grateful to them as if it weren't for Muse I'd have never discovered Frank 'cos he was at Reading Sunday last year and was the second best thing I saw that day.... This! I'm not sure about ...

I would suggest going to see Jim Lockey and the Solemn Sun on the 4th Feb at the Joiners, lots of like minded people there etc!

Re: Does anyone ever worry about music related tattoos??

I have always considered a tattoo but I'm really terrified of the pain. I'm basically a wimp with pain; I didn't get my ears pierced until I was 19 because I was so scared! I just need to pluck up the courage as I know what I would get and where.

I really like Les Miserables, I enjoy the running motifs through it, despite some of the flowery lyrics.

Definitely prefer the digestives with caramel in the middle. I have been known to eat a whole packet and therefore try to stay away from them nowadays!

Re: Careers vs Values

I have, on a much more mundane scale chosen career over interests rather than values; I'm going Maths and French at uni and my passion was always music but I was dissuaded against it due to lack of jobs etc however I'm not doing so well in my degree and I would have probably done pretty damn well at...
