Re: American Apparel T-shirts at upcoming EU tour?

I'm wearing mine now... It is a great shirt and has held up really well. Unlike most band shirts, this one is improving with age and fits well.

Re: US Tour 2013

Check out the presale thread on the main page-- I posted about accessing the code for the presale via live nation on FB. For Western Canada (not sure where else it would work) the code is milestone.

Re: US Presale

So, I was a bit miffed at having to purchase merch to get the code so was going to wait. Then, on my FB page, an ad popped up for Livenation frank tickets, with the tag 'get presale codes'-- I clicked through and all I had to do was 'like' the livenation page and voila, code for the Oct show. In thi...

Re: Who is Frank in between...

Between Frank Sinatra and Gladys Knight & the Pips-- not bad company that.

Bossman, I like the idea of doing this on BTX.

Re: Careers vs Values

Can you support the part without supporting the whole? There is some valuable and necessary work being done in intelligence-- supporting that portion of the military agenda does not necessarily endorse the entirely US military machine. This may be splitting moral hairs, however; only you can determi...

Re: A little Worried

Also well into my forties here and went to my first Frank gig (I call it a show) alone and then travelled across the country to see him twice more. I've travelled solo across North America to see Springsteen. Many of my friends have not heard of Frank either, though I have since converted a couple o...

Thanks for the Vancouver Show!

I know you're busy with this Wembley thing you've got going on, but just wanted to thank you so much for adding a Vancouver show to the tour!

This will be my fourth Frank show since September and the announcement made my spring (somewhat tragically, this is not an understatement).

Can't wait!

No we don't. Only that stupid, irritating, inane Fredj guy (and his other chums/usernames) do. It's annoying to say the least.

Don't pull any punches there, Dave. Hahahahaha
It's all good, manj.

Add me to the list of those disappointed with the lack of a Vancouver date--curse you, Wembley!

Re: Thanks, Frank!

Yay, Kit!

That line seems to be on a constant loop in my head-- though sometimes I think only a 20something bachelor would have the cojones to write a line like that. It keeps me going to the gym, that's for sure.

Re: Length of Set For Upcoming Shows

Thanks for the caveat-- good to know for future reference. Normally I wouldn't travel for an opening act; I am hoping to turn this into a Springsteen road trip with some Frank shows squeezed in. Even for big acts like Springsteen, I usually won't travel anywhere I wouldn't be happy to visit regardle...

Re: Canadian tour with Joel Plaskett

My questions, exactly!

I also posted this on another thread, but will ask here too: Frank, how long with the set list be?

Disappointed you are not travelling west of the Rockies this time, but caught three shows on the last leg, so #firstworldproblems.

Re: Length of Set For Upcoming Shows

Alack, no!

Will this be the same for the Canadian shows with Joel Plaskett? I like Joel's stuff, but not about to fly across the country to see him perform. You, sir, on the other hand...

Re: Canadian Dates

Thanks for the Canadian dates, Frank! The Montreal show was epic in the fall and I am looking forward to the same venue again! The Ottawa venue, interestingly enough, used to be a Catholic Girls' High School that my grandmother attended. Yousuf Karsh took the photos of my grandmother's graduating cl...

Re: Canadian Dates

I checked out their websites but neither venue gives the capasity number. The House of Blues in Orlando looks to be kind of big- I know Southside played there so that gives an idea, got to be over 1000. The Tampa venue, The Ritz in Ybor City is probably in the hundreds, but hard to tell from their ...
