Re: Rock bio's

Slight bump but +1 for Shakey. It's got a ridiculous amount of pages but despite this I've read it at least twenty times, and each time you find something new. Jimmy McDonough did some serious work for this book, and it's written so well that I've genuinely cried at some parts of that book, and equa...

Re: views on the strike

I'm finding this really interesting to follow - I'm just wondering, unlike here, do private schools fund their own teachers? Because here all teachers are funded by the state, which is coming under consideration in the next few weeks... Private are paid by the school, generally more highly, althoug...

Re: Berlin

Cheers! The Frames looked really good :/ Pity is was all the way down in Dingle, I'd really love to go down there one of the years, but I feel the same as Bella, I'd be worried I wouldn't get tickets for the bands I wanted to see, and it's a fair way from Dublin!

Re: views on the strike

Fucking hell, I didn't realise the extent of this strike considering how poorly it's covered on Irish news. Are the government seriously scrapping minimum wage?

Re: Springsteen

I'll definitely be at the Dublin show, and would love to go to London, but alas I need money for Van Morrison and Elvis Costello as well!

Hey, still REALLY new to this forum but massive FT fan. Will be heading to the Glasgow show with a mate, would love if I met a few more Frankophiles there! (just invented that phrase myself, ya know what i mean) Another Dub heading to the Glasgow gig? Good stuff :) There is seemingly a sort-of-meet...

Agreed. Although I really can't stand Matt Smith, just his demeanour in the show... he scares me...
And also David Tennant was fit ;D

I'd kill to hear: Journey of the Magi, Wanderlust & Balthazar Impresario.

Can't really say I don't want to hear any, as I've only seen Frank the once!

Glasgow meetup!

Eight days until Barrowlands! I have everything booked; flights, accommodation etc, and now it's time to sort out a pre-gig, because otherwise I will get terribly lost. And that would be bad. So, to someone who is better acquainted with Scotland than I, please take it upon yourself to organise somet...
