Re: I am Disappeared

I love this song and I really don't have a clue what it's about. I'm sure my interpretation of other songs may not be accurate but they are my interpretations. What does this song say to you? It's basically the dark side to "The Road", in my opinion. "The Road" is about keeping moving forward and p...

Pretty sure it was "Music For The Jilted Generation" by The Prodigy from the local Our Price. I had a voucher.

Re: Rank The Albums

When you use the word "objectively", what do you mean by that, exactly? Because unless you're ranking them on a factual measure then I don't think it means what you think it means.

"I don't like to get too specific about lyrics. It places limitations on them, and spoils the listeners' interpretation."

Re: PSFNP

I've had my first listen, but I was hoping to get Nigel's official advice on how to listen to the album correctly before I gave it another go. Appropriate points at which to pause and take a tea break to absorb before proceeding.

Re: The Next Storm - radio play

Every time I see this thread I keep thinking I somehow missed the news that frank wrote a radio play, and I start hearing the voice of the standard Radio 4 continuity announcer in my head introducing it.

When the select committee formed to investigate the possibility of stricter regulation on secondary ticket resale to limit online touting, Ticketmaster spoke out in favour of stricter regulation, but they did say that if the huge profits from resale sites continued, they'd have to get on board becau...

Re: Conspiracy?

Every time believing other stories or can say “franks” can put someone into a big trouble. There are many Conspiracies around the world that proofs this fact. Well I hope it will be just a frank, good luck. Not sure if this is a spammer with Bayesian spoofing or a real person, but I chose to read t...

Re: PSFNP

All frank's songs are about drinking. This title is a particularly brutal cocktail recipe: Peach Schnapps, Falernum, Novocaine, Powerade.

It's definitely a nod to "Feel Good Hit Of The Summer" by Queens Of The Stone Age.

Re: New cd reviews...........

The new Sufjan Stevens album "Carrie & Lowell" has somewhat floored me this week. I've been pretty hit and miss with his work in the past, I don't rave about his every creation like some of my friends, but in my opinion this is his best album to date, by miles. Melodically it's beautiful, in contras...
