frank wrote:i use ernie ball acoustic strings, they're great. used to use fast fret but EB sent us this fret cleaner stuff that is also excellent. i actually love restringing guitars, i find it quite peaceful.
i used to love re-stringing, then i bought a Gretsch and it's such a hassle.

Carnivores

Blatent Plug Alert... My band Carnivores, you might have seen us at a Lexapalooza show or at one of the million shows we've done or on Radio 1 cause we're superstars. So yeah, we're releasing a new single. http://carnivores1.bandcamp.com/album/scottish-football-horses-of-the-galaxy If you like stuff...

I'd like to hear you and the band do a record where half of it is short power pop and the other half is very stripped down acoustic like Nights Become Days, Substitute etc.

That would be cool. Not a double album though, double albums usually suck.

Frank, you had me at 'Baritone guitar'. Will be awesome to hear some fucking horrible new music. Distinct lack of good heavy UK music at the moment.

Obviously, Palehorse are the exception.

having heard the album, i'm most in love with the bonus tracks. Particularly Balthazar.

I'm also loving Frank's notes on the lyric sheets.

great package.
