Re: TV theme

If Taylor Swift is crediting Right Said Fred for her latest track and Blurred Lines was deemed to have nabbed hooks then this isn't just similar it's a straight up copy of it. How odd

Re: Live fast, die old.

Hi, silly question but it's bugging me...which lyrics did you change when you sang Live fast die old at the festie? I could've sworn you were singing 'quiet shores of the south west' instead of 'south coast'? I'd always misheard the lyrics that way so am doubting my hearing and sanitary....I was ce...

Re: Ways of seeing get better film

Pretty sure plans are in place after the recent US touring of the film, if memory of a recent interview is correct. So I'd guess later in the summer.

Re: Political songs

Not at all, no. I'm saying at this point in time Blair has a worse human rights record / is responsible for the death of more innocent people than Donald Trump and were I a betting man, I think it'll stay that way. Bush and Blair are culpable for their own decisions, neither more so than the other.

Re: Political songs

You can call me on the malevolent comment (although not something either of us are really able to prove, all I can say is that Blair appears far more calculating than Trump and has managed the dubious achievement of accruing wealth from even more shady means than Trump), not entirely sure the lives ...

Re: Political songs

I must confess to remaining entirely ambivalent. Trump is clearly a fucking idiot and dangerous, but Tony Blair was far more malevolent and will likely go down in history as being more dangerous in terms of lives cost. Similar to Bush Jr, who amazingly was also more stupid than Trump. Where we are n...

Re: 1031 in Willmington, DE show

I chose this "public" forum to apologize to everyone else who was put out by last night. Not something I got from your initial post: Was anyone at last night's show and see the couple get engaged? :?: I'd also argue the use of 'the couple' when one of them is you, is indeed a use of the third perso...

Re: show 2000

Few issues with the lovely offer above:

1) No PMs - so you should probably get someone brave to put their mobile up and text it to them otherwise someone else could grab it.

2) I'd be wary if someone signs up now and shotguns it - you could well be providing a cunning tout with two tickets

Re: show 2000

Tickets procured despite fear it's going to be logistically impossible. Flying out from Heathrow at 8.30am the following morning, going to have to do some madcap planes, trains and automobiles to attend.

Scunthorpe - Only English word containing 'cunt' to my knowledge.

Mate went to uni in Warrington and I visited a few times. Pretty bleak back then. Maybe improved now though.
